Michael Davis (b. 1996), working under the name Fifth Davis, is a self-taught artist whose practice centers on material transformation and restraint.

Drawing from a background shaped by spirituality and resourcefulness, his work uses everyday materials to build form, tension, and presence.

Davis builds his pieces by layering fabric over improvised armatures, allowing gesture to be held in a suspended state.
